About — Jayden Tan Photography

Jayden Tan (b.1988) is a photographer & art director based in Singapore.

Inspired by pop music and culture, Jayden’s style is unmistakably striking and vibrant. His commercial sensibility from working in advertising, along with his eclectic mix of ideas, has led him to create works that are proven to be overnight sensations.

He communicates visually through his technical finesse & art craftsmanship, evoking a sense of heightened storytelling beyond just aesthetically-pleasing pixels.

In 2016, a personal photo series “Char Bor” crafted to commemorate Singapore’s National Day went viral and was exhibited across Singapore by InstaSG and National Youth Council. It was also featured in various local media and news channels.

In 2021, Jayden teamed up with fashion designer Josiah Chua to create a fashion photo series by repurposing McDonald's limited edition BTS Meal packaging. The photo series was an immediate hit and went viral across the world and was featured in HYPEBEAST, Nylon, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and more. It was also mentioned in McDonald’s earning call Q2 2021.

In March of 2023, his film photography portraits “640B” went viral, and received coverage from various online and offline news media.

He currently runs a boutique creative studio HeadQuartors in Singapore.
